GAC Motor aims for huge market share

The launch of the GA8 and the GS8 models comes as part of an extensive expansion strategy, in which GAC Motor aims to be the leading automotive brand in Qatar, as well as, other GCC countries such as Saudi Arabia.
On the occasion, Wang Shunsheng, GAC Motor Deputy General Manager, revealed that the automotive juggernaut aims to increase its share in multiple GCC countries, most importantly Qatar.
“GAC motor has conquered the Chinese automotive market, and we are looking to extend our success to the Qatari Market, as well as, other GCC markets”, stated Shunsheng. “The Qatari market is of great importance to us, as the customers in this country are able to appreciate the advanced technology and luxury GAC Motor Provides,”
He added. GAC has set up superior marketing strategies that will allow for the automotive manufacturer to position itself as a key player in the luxury automotive market. “We are well aware of the circumstances that the Qatari Market presents, and as a result we have recognized that market positioning of GAC motor is of the ultimate importance to us. We are very confident in the quality of our offerings, and we can guarantee that it is superior than our competitors”, he said.
GAC will be working with their partners at Domasco to carry out multiple marketing promotions that will aid in increasing GAC Motor’s brand awareness, and will help position the brand amongst the top key players in the luxury automotive market. “We are currently working intensely with Domasco in coming up with marketing strategies that will help us create more brand awareness, and as a result, reach our demographic of mid to high-end customers in Qatar. We will also be introducing some special offers during the holy month of Ramadan to further entice our customers.”
GAC Motor is relying heavily on DOMASCO’s name and stature as one the most successful automotive distributers in the market and the region, in order to successfully reach their expansion goals and to supply the market’s demand. “ DOMASCO has been a well known name in Qatar for over 50 years, and that is what attracted GAC Motor to partner with us”, said Faisal Sharif, Managing Director at DOMASCO.
