Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counter-Terrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution H E Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani met with Director of Counter-Terrorism Department in the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) H E Alastair Totty, on the sidelines of the UN’s Third Counter-Terrorism Week (CT Week) that is taking place in New York from June 19 to June 23. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation relations and ways of unifying efforts to achieve security and stability in Afghanistan, in addition to discussing the situation in Al-Hol camp in Syria, and the prospects for cooperation in the field of combating terrorism in Africa, especially in the Sahel region.
