Doha, Qatar: The Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy HE Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi visited a number of those who are still receiving medical treatment from amongst the injured in the incident at the Barzan gas supply facility in Ras Laffan.
The injured are being treated at Hamad, Al-Wakrah, and Hazm Mebaireek hospitals. His Excellency Minister Al-Kaabi wished the injured a speedy recovery and conveyed the well wishes of everyone in Qatar’s energy sector, assuring them that various QatarEnergy teams are providing their full support to those affected by this incident.
66 people were injured in the incident, all of whom have received treatment with a few of them remaining in hospital and are receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
