BEIJING: A gas explosion in a downtown Beijing bakery Wednesday morning left two people dead and 19 injured, a Xinhua report said citing official sources.
The four severely injured and others have been sent to nearby hospitals, the sources said.
The explosion occurred at 7:33 am in a Golden Phoenix Bakery store on Guangming Road, Dongcheng District.
Rescue crews put out the fire and removed two gas tanks containing 50 kg of liquefied gas from the site. (QNA)
