Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent a cable of congratulations to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman on the anniversary of his accession to the throne.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a similar cable.

Doha: The Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs H E Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi yesterday hosted at Diplomatic Club a farewell ceremony for French Ambassador Jean-Christophe Peauchelle.
It was attended by a number of heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the country, Ibrahim Youssef Fakhro, Head of the Foreign Ministry’s Department of Protocols, and directors.
DOHA: Al Khor Health Centre will be closed tomorrow for maintenance work and will reopen on Saturday.
