President Benigno Aquino will inaugurate Philippine Arena, a $200m indoor arena touted to be the world’s largest, and built by a Christian sect, on Monday. The arena has a total floor area of 99,000 square metres and a seating capacity of more than 50,000. Its dome spans over 36,000 square metres.
