Doha, Qatar: The Cultural Village Foundation – Katara has inaugurated the “Environment and Life” exhibition, showcasing more than 30 artworks that celebrate nature and promote environmental awareness through creative expression and recycled materials.
Organised by Katara in collaboration with Seashore Group, the exhibition was opened in the presence of Saif Saad Al Dosari, Deputy Director General of Katara and Director of Human Resources, along with artists, cultural figures, and visitors interested in art, culture, and environmental issues.
The exhibition brings together the work of three artists from Qatar and Thailand—Jawaher Al Attiyah, Noura Radwi, and Thai artist Ou—in a visual experience that blends fine art with sustainability. The collection includes paintings, sculptures, and installations created using recycled materials, demonstrating how discarded objects can be transformed into meaningful artistic creations that carry cultural and environmental messages.
More than a display of artistic talent, the exhibition serves as an educational platform that encourages visitors to reflect on the impact of everyday consumption and the importance of reducing waste. By incorporating reclaimed materials into their works, the participating artists illustrate how creativity can contribute to environmental solutions while inspiring audiences to view used materials as valuable resources rather than disposable waste.

Open to visitors until August 2, the exhibition is being held at Building 18, Hall 2, and welcomes the public daily from 10am to 10pm, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to experience an exhibition where art, culture, and environmental awareness come together in support of a more sustainable future.
