DOHA: Noted Islamic scholar, Dr Yousuf Al Qaradawi, has been re-elected as Chairman of International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), the local Arabic daily Al Arab said yesterday. The election for the top post was held in Istanbul on the sidelines of a recently concluded conference titled ‘Role of Islamic Scholars for the Renaissance of Ummah and Islamic Nations’.
