The Beaches & Islands Section of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has removed tyres, fishing and metallic nets and submerged objects from Al Shamal Port and plastic cans and wooden items from the wharf. It also put up caution signs on abandoned boats and urged boat owners and fishermen not to throw waste in the sea so that the environment and the general view of the area are preserved.
