DOHA: KIA Qatar has announced the launch of Konfidence Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicles division for the local market.
Qatar has been chosen as one of the pilot markets for the rebranded division which will eventually roll out to many other countries as well, KIA Qatar top officials told the media. “We are ecstatic in that not only do we have a revamped, manufacturer-supported certified pre-owned cars programme but in that we are one of the first markets to roll out regionally and globally. Konfidence will aid us as a distributor in offering flexibility and practicality for our customers as we aim to meet their needs without compromising on KIA’s quality or reliability”, said Hossam Abu Shadi, Automotive Director of Al Attitya Motors and Trading Co. (AMTC), the official distributor of KIA Motors in Qatar.
Sajith Mohamed, CPO Division Manager, said customers of Konfidence are assured that the vehicles offered have been tested and certified based on the high standards set. “Every Kia that earns the title of CPO is five years or newer, has less than 100,000km and has undergone a thorough multi-point quality assurance inspection. From brakes to electrical to engine, every aspect of your vehicle inspected. All of the highest standards come standard in a Kia Certified Pre-Owned”.
Based on the existing stock on display, customers can choose from an existing array of CPO cars such as Sportage SUV, Cerato sedan and Soul MPV with model years ranging from 2013 up to as recent as 2016.
One of the major advantages of having the Konfidence programme is that customers can not only choose to purchase a new KIA via a retail purchase but can opt for alternatives such as a CPO car or even through leasing. Furthermore, customers with existing vehicles can trade in their old model and initiate a purchase for a new car as well.
