The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon at the United Nations headquarters in New York yesterday. The two reviewed ties between Qatar and the global body and discussed regional and international issues and the main topics on the agenda of the 69th session of the General Assembly. The Emir later attended the opening session of the UN summit on climate change.
