Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has won the Enterprise Agility Achiever Award in Healthcare for 2014 at the inaugural Qatar Enterprise Agility Awards: Entrepreneur of the Year organised by Entrepreneur Middle East and North Africa in association with Barclays.
The award was received by Ali Al Janahi, Chief of Business Services Group, on behalf of Dr Hanan Al Kuwari, Managing Director, HMC.
Qatar Chamber’s Vice-Chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Tawar Al Kuwari presented the award.
The Enterprise Agility Awards recognise and honour enterprise leaders and individuals who have distinguished themselves and demonstrated innovation and outstanding business conduct, and made significant economic and social contributions to Qatar.
“We are honoured to receive the award as it demonstrates the key role HMC has played in delivering high quality, compassionate healthcare to the people of Qatar,” said Dr Al Kuwari.

Ali Abdulla Al Khater, Executive Director, Corporate Communications, HMC, David Astley, Chief of Tertiary Hospitals Group, HMC and other HMC officials also attended the ceremony at Grand Hyatt Doha last week.
