Riyadh: Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia H E Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 95th National Day, celebrated this year under the slogan “Pride in Our Nature.”
In a statement to the QNA, the Ambassador affirmed that the anniversary of the unification and establishment of the Kingdom serves as an inspiration for the future. He noted that the blessed Kingdom continues to make steady progress in its development journey, from the reign of the late kings to the current prosperous era of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince, reflecting the Kingdom’s deep commitment to its rich historical legacy and its belief in its capacity to achieve transformation, progress, and further elevate its stature among the nations of the world. He expressed pride at the the Kingdom’s achievements, highlighting its remarkable preparations for hosting major global events and championships across various fields.
The Ambassador expressed delight to join the brothers in the Kingdom in celebrating this blessed occasion, under the slogan that springs from the authenticity of Saudi society and its deeply rooted values, which will continue to be passed down through generations. He emphasized that participating in these celebrations is a duty strengthened by the strong bonds of brotherhood between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In this regard, the Ambassador affirmed that relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia are continuously developing and flourishing, with fruitful cooperation at all levels, embodying the highest meanings of unity and solidarity, driven by the noble will of the leadership of both countries, grounded in their historical ties, shared values, and common destiny. He also highlighted the chairmanship of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom’s delegation at the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit in Doha. The Ambassador praised the Kingdom’s stance, led by its government and people, in response to the Israeli aggression and blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and regional security. He also commended the speech delivered at the opening of the second year of the 9th session of the Shura Council, which expressed fraternal support and solidarity with Qatar.
In closing, the Ambassador reaffirmed Qatar’s pride in the brotherly relations and shared aspirations between the two nations. He also took the opportunity to praise the Saudi character, which has preserved its authentic Arab roots and steadfast Islamic values.
