Washington, USA: Meta has unveiled a small handheld device called Meta Charm, which uses new AI agent Muse AI, as part of expanding the company's efforts in the field of AI-powered devices.
The device is about the size of an Apple AirPods case, and includes a touch screen about two inches in diameter, in addition to a built-in connection to fifth generation networks.
Meta announced, during the annual Meta Connect event held in Menlo Park, California, that the device will be ready to ship next December, without revealing its price.
The company's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, explained that the device combines the Muse experience, including the audio and iconography, into a small device that can be hung on a keychain and is always available to interact with.
During the event, Meta also displayed the first virtual reality device with a thin design resembling glasses, along with smart glasses designed without cameras, in light of increasing privacy concerns associated with artificial intelligence devices capable of shooting videos and taking photos.
