DOHA: The Aspire4Sport 2013 Congress and Exhibition, which will take place from November 16 to 19 at Aspire Dome, will feature a presence of international expertise from the sports business industry, most notably a number of British companies.
Through UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), British companies are expected to take part in the region’s most prominent sports platform.
UK-based “Construction Products Association” and UKTI staff at the British Embassy Doha will be working together to enable British companies to participate and showcase the latest sports-related services and products.
As the host nation of the London 2012 Olympic Games, the UK’s anticipated participation at this year’s round of Aspire4Sport will carry eminent expertise and know-how to key stakeholders.
The event will provide British companies with an unparalleled opportunity to engage with organisations like the Qatar Olympic Committee, Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee, as well as key decision makers in the sports business industry on local, regional, and global levels.
Hamad Saif Buhindi, Executive Director of Aspire4Sport said: “Aspire4Sport and UKTI have always partnered to ensure a successful representation of UK-based organisations. We realise the importance of the expertise and knowledge brought to the event, given the remarkable success of the London Olympic Games, and will continue our partnership with UKTI in the future to bring the best possible skills to Qatar and the region.”
Gareth O’Brien, Director of Trade and Investment, British Embassy Qatar said: “UKTI has always been a success partner with Aspire4Sport. We understand the opportunities this event brings to UK-based companies, and this is why we strive to provide them with support on all levels.” THE PENINSULA
