KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's state-owned oil and gas company Petronas will organise a three-day international human capital summit beginning October 29 to discuss current human resource issues in the oil and gas industry.
Themed 'Redefining Human Capital for a Sustainable Future', the summit would serve as an avenue for human resource practitioners from the industry to share their insight and experiences in managing and developing their workforce, according to Malaysia's Bernama News Agency.
"The summit, managed and organised by the global and diversified business entity, will see a host of diverse high-level participants including heads of human resource from international oil and gas companies and other public and private establishments," it said in a statement today.
Among the topics to be discussed include creating collaborative pathways among industry players for sustainable talent development and attracting and retaining talents.
The summit hopes to attract more than 500 participants from Indonesia, India, Japan, Australia, Sudan, the United States and Europe. (QNA)
