Pope honours Qatari ambassador

Pope Francis conferred yesterday the Vatican Medal on outgoing Qatari Ambassador Mohammed Jaham Al Kuwari. The envoy briefed the Pope on Qatar’s role in strengthening interfaith dialogue, which is a basic pillar of Qatari diplomacy.
