DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Thursday 41.58 points or 0.43 percent to 9,652.35 points from the previous closing of 9,693.93 points.
The volume of the shares down to 4,227,500 from 8,792,964 on Wednesday and the value of shares decreased to QR 253,769,172.60 from QR 326,815,378.89 Wednesday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 1.72 percent to QR 160.00, Salam International lost 0.41 percent to QR 12.25, United Dev. Company fell 1.14 percent to QR 21.60 and Comm. Bank of Qatar down by 0.30 percent to QR 66.40.
The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.82 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index dropped 0.61 percent points.
The industrial sector was gained 0.41 percent points, while insurance sector down 0.64 percent points. (QNA)
