Tehran: Qatar’s Minister of Economy and Trade H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani yesterday visited the Islamic Republic of Iran, accompanied by a delegation that included a number of businessmen and CEOs of Qatari companies.
During the visit, which came at the invitation by Iran, the Minister met Iran’s First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri Kouhshahi. He also held talks with Iranian Minister of Industry, Trade and Mines Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh and Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Tayebnia.
At the end of the two-day visit yesterday, the Minister witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Qatar Primary Materials Co (QPMC) and an Iranian company for importing Gabbro Aggregate and Fine Sand. QNA
