Doha: The students of Pakistan International School Qatar (PISQ) have excelled in the HSSC Part-I Annual Examination 2021, the results of which were announced recently by the Islamabad-based Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).
PISQ has been showing remarkable progress towards academic excellence, especially in the board exams. This year, PISQ students have made their alma mater proud by securing top fourteen positions among all the Pakistani schools in Qatar.
Total 159 students were registered for HSSC-I Annual Examination 2021 and all remained successful marking 100% pass ratio with 55 A1 and 39 A grades. Shermin Bokhari stood first with 501/505 marks in all Doha-based Pakistani schools in the Pre-Medical Group. Syeda Zahra Batool, Wafa Amir, Aljohera Abeer and Jawairia Shakeel shared second position in the group in Doha by securing 500/505 marks each whereas Fareeha Ellahi Bakhsh secured third position in the same group with 499/505 marks.
In the Commerce Group, Areeba Shahnaz stood first with 536/550 marks, Maha Imran got second position with 503/550 marks while Suneeda Mohammad Karim achieved third position with 500/550 marks. Mustafa Lal Sahib Khan secured first position with 467/510 marks, Afaq Gul stood second with 448/510 marks and Hamza Lal Sahib Khan secured third position with 442/510 marks in school in the Science General group.
In the Pre-Engineering Group, Bashayer Hussain secured first position with 461/520 marks, Mohammad Iltaf secured second position with 436/520 marks and Miss Sadganj Ali stood third with 427/520 marks in the school. Naima Farooq and Amina Sher Bahadar shared first position in the Humanities group with 465/550 marks each.
Iqra Adam Khan and Shazia Akram secured second and third position by obtaining 435 and 428 marks out of 550 each respectively in their group.
Nargis Raza Otho, Principal of PISQ congratulated students, parents and teachers on the brilliant results of HSSC-I.
She said joyfully that PISQ is showing constant progress in academics and stands tall among its competitors in Qatar.
Syed Ahsan Raza Shah, Ambassador of Pakistan, also expressed his joy and pleasure on the achievements of the students and urged them to take education as the only key for them to unlock the fortunes of tomorrow to become successful and dignified citizens of Pakistan. He congratulated the teachers, parents and school management on the excellent results of the school.
