Scattered rains forecast today

Doha: The weather bureau has forecast that some parts of the country might witness scattered rains today. The rains, especially in the north area, could be accompanied by thunder, added the bureau.  The weather will remain partly cloudy by mid-day, becoming relatively humid to hazy at different parts of the country by night. The heat would be least sizzling in Ruwais and Abu Samra today compared to other parts of Qatar as the maximum day temperatures forecast for these areas by the Meteorology Department is 27 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures have been forecast for the entire country at between 19 and 22 degrees Celsius. The northeasterly to southeasterly winds would blow at speeds ranging from three to 12 knots an hour and they will reach 22 knots an hour when it rains with thunder in the offshore areas. The weather is expected to be pleasant after midday. Earlier this week, heavy rains accompanied by thunder and strong winds were reported from areas including Al Sailiyah, Al Murra, Mesaieed, Al Wakra and Nasiriyah, while scattered rains were reported from Al Shamal, Dukhan, Abu Hamour and parts of the Industrial Area.The Peninsula
