No-smoking zone in Souq Waqif

DOHA: All restaurants and cafeterias in Souq Waqif have been asked to allocate 50 percent of their open space exclusively for non-smokers. A circular issued by the Souq Waqif administration has also banned smoking Sheesha in closed areas at such outlets, according to Al Sharq.
All eateries have been asked to earmark 50 percent of their tables for non-smokers and warned that violation of the new rule will lead to a suspension of the licence of the outlet for three months.
