Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met yesterday at Emiri Diwan Ambassador of the Republic of Uruguay Jose Luis Remedi whose term of office has expired.
The Emir presented the Uruguay Ambassador with the Sash of Merit in recognition of the efforts he exerted to enhance relations between the two countries and wishing him success in his future posting. The Uruguayan Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Emir and officials for the cooperation he received during his tenure.
