Mexico City: An earthquake measuring magnitude of 5.5 hit Mexico City on Monday night, according to the US Geological Survey.
The USGS said the quake's epicentre was 257km south of Mexico City in the southwestern state of Guerrero. The quake occurred at a depth of 37km.
There was no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
