Doha: El Jaish club will go on a training camp in one of the Gulf countries during the Qatar Stars League break due to holding the U-23 Asian Cup, which will be held in Doha and qualifies for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
The squad will try to benefit from the camp to return to the competition in the best shape and ready for Gameweek 16 in which they take on Al Khor, the club said on their website.
Meanwhile, head coach Sabri Lamouchi gave players a two-day break and will resume training on Friday ahead of the next game against Al Sailiya on January 3. After that game, the team will get another five-day break.
El Jaish are currently in second place on 29 points, 10 points behind leaders Al Rayyan.
