DOHA: Engineer Essa bin Hilal Al Kuwari, the President of Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa), formed a high-level team to look after the ongoing Smart Network project for the electricity and water sectors.
The six-member committee headed by Eng Ali Al Ali, Conservation and Energy Efficiency Department Manager, will study the current situation and suggest an action plan to implement transfer to smart networks. The committee will submit a thorough report pertaining to the general strategy of Kahramaa for implementing the ambitious project.
Kahramaa is developing intelligent solutions from network management to distribution, aiming the high reliability on power and water supply in the future.
