​QA recruitment drive ends

Doha: Qatar Airways completed recruitment drive for new scholarship recipients, meeting more than 130 students at the 7th Annual Qatar UK Career Fair in London on February 21-22. 
Students visiting the Qatar Airways booth had an opportunity to interact with the recruitment team to discuss career opportunities within the organisation and answer any questions. 
Those interested in applying were encouraged to do so using the online system at the booth. Those that met scholarship programme criteria were interviewed by a Qatar Airways National Scholarship Programme recruiter.
“Qatar Airways is known throughout the world as the five-star airline. That is why we are looking to develop talented, bright, ambitious individuals within our organisation,” said Mohsen Al Yafei, SVP Contracts and Procurement and Chairman of Nationalisation, Qatar Airways. 
“We want to continue our tradition of providing five-star service and quality by bringing in individuals, who see the ‘big picture’ and value of the hard work required to make Qatar Airways what it is,” he said.
Qatar Airways sponsoring more than 100 university students in Qatar, the US, New Zealand and the UK, with a goal to recruit additional students into four programmes offered by its Nationalisation Department over the course of the career fair. The programmes include QRNSP, Graduate Development Programme, Aviation Management Programme and the Internship Programme.
The Peninsula
