17 suspected coronavirus cases onboard Turkish Airlines flight from Tehran

Ankara: A Turkish Airlines plane landed at Ankara's Esenboga Airport during a flight from Tehran to Istanbul on suspicion of travelers with the Coronavirus.

Informed sources told the Anadolu News Agency that the plane landed at the Esenboga International Airport with 132 passengers on board, including 17 people suspected of being infected with the virus. Turkish medical teams conducted initial checks on passengers, under the supervision of officials from the Ministry of Health. 17 passengers were suspected of overheating.

Turkish medical teams continue checks on the plane.

Earlier today, the Iranian Ministry of Health announced the death of 15 people with the Coronavirus, and the number of infections has risen to 95. (QNA)
