Doha, Qatar: The Student Activities Department at Qatar University (QU) held a press conference to announce the details of the 13th edition of the Cultural Village under the theme ‘Heritage Worn with Pride.’ The event will take place at the Student Affairs Building (I11) from March 30-31, 2026 for female students and from April 1-2, 2026 for male students. The initiative reflects QU’s commitment to fostering an inclusive university environment.

Commenting on the occasion, Abdullah Al-Mulla, Director of the Student Activities Department, stated, “We are pleased to renew our annual gathering at QU through the Cultural Village, an event that embodies the spirit of cultural diversity that characterises our university. This event is not merely a celebration; it is a vibrant platform for dialogue and mutual understanding among cultures and an opportunity for our students to proudly represent their heritage and identity. We believe that these interactive experiences strengthen values of mutual respect and enrich the university community. We invite everyone to join us in this cultural forum that builds bridges of communication between people.” 

Meera Al-Kuwari, Head of the Campus Events and Programs Section, said, “This annual event has become a prominent highlight in the student activities calendar and a platform that celebrates cultural diversity among students while showcasing the heritage, customs, and traditions of different nations.
