DOHA: Marking  the launch of its first compressed natural gas (CNG) bus, Mowasalat has issued a postage stamp, in collaboration with the Qatar General Postal Corporation (Q-Post), featuring the bus and the company logo. By adding CNG buses to its fleet, Mowasalat has stepped in to  contribute to substituting conservative fuels.

Jassim Saif Al Sulaiti, Mowasalat’s Chairman, said this occasion was “an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the extreme importance of using clean energy as integral part of our basic undertakings, which we strive to translate into daily operations.

“Being the government transport company, Mowasalat undertakes to fulfil its commitment towards the community and the environment by taking new steps, including applications of using clean energy. This is just a first step in fulfilling Karwa’s ambitious plan of refuelling its fleet through strategic steps to provide optimum services while conserving the environment.”
