The basketball league for young Filipino students recently ended with team Ooredoo- QPalz (pictured left) beating Travelex Money Exchange PCY2 (right), 64-60, to claim the championship of SBP-Pinoy Basketbal of Qatar (PIBAQ) U18 Season 1 tournament. PIBAQ President Pat Carido thanked all sponsors including Travelex Money Exchange, Arabian Gulf Logistics Services, Power Horse Energy Drink, Boracay Filipino Restaurant, Diana Jewellery and Watches, Happy Journey Travel and August Sports Tailor. He announced that the next season would be much bigger and exciting as more young Filipinos have shown their interest to join the league.
