DOHA: Dar Al Sharq Publishing and Distribution Company, the publishers of The Peninsula Newspaper announced that they will be supporting the Qatar Foundation for Elderly People Care (Ihsan) by equipping its library with various books and computers.
The group’s managing team visited Ihsan home on Wednesday morning led by HE Dr Khalid bin Thani Al Thani vice chairman, Abdul Latif Al Mahmoud, the CEO, and Jaber Al Harami the deputy CEO and editor in chief of Al Sharq Newspaper.
Dr Khalid emphasized the importance of taking care of elderly people, as they undergo several changes in their lives during the old age.
Dar Al Sharq delegation was received by Mubarak Al Khalifa the general director of the foundation and they toured around the premises, interacting with the elders.
