The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh
Washington: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani yesterday attended a reception hosted by members of the Society of Qatar Friends at the Congress (the American-Qatari Caucus) premises.
The Emir welcomed the members and mentioned the close ties that bind Qatar and the United States and stressed the continued growth and development of relations between the two countries.
He also lauded the areas of cooperation between Qatar and US, especially in the fields of education, investment, energy, industry and military cooperation, pointing out to new prospects for expanding the frameworks of this cooperation to include various aspects of economic, trade and investment activities in the near future.
The reception was attended by the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani. QNA
