Philippine field voting at Catholic church premises tomorrow

DOHA: The Philippine Embassy yesterday announced it would conduct field voting for the 2013 National Elections tomorrow from 9am to 4pm at the premises of the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Mesaimeer.

Registered overseas voters are required to present their Qatar ID or copies of their passports before casting their votes.

Aside from the regular voting at the Embassy scheduled daily from 8.30am to 4.30pm, field voting is conducted in areas frequented by Filipinos to give them easier access to participate in the elections.

Last Friday, with the assistance of Al Khor Pinoys, an organisation of Filipinos in Al Khor, field voting was held in the Club House of Al Khor Community. The Peninsula
