Doha: Qatar is to take part in the second world conference on education of the Holy Quran and the associated Quranic Exhibition due to open in the Kingdom of Bahrain to held from April 27 to 30.
The Minister of Awqaf (Islamic Endowments) and Islamic Affairs H E Dr Ghayeth bin Mubarak Al Kuwari will lead Qatar’s delegation to the conference.
The conference in its second edition is held under the title, “The Prophetic Approach in Educating the Holy Quran” and under the patronage of King Hamad bin Eissa Al Khalifa.
The conference will bring together about 300 figures from across the world including official and scientific personalities and other specialists in the holy quran and its sciences and others in legislative, educational and shariat fields.
The conferees will discuss advancement of the institutions of the Holy Quran and the development of methods of administration, education, and study the problems and barriers to education Quranic and methods of treatment.
They will also highlight the prophetic curriculum in this respect and the development of contemporary curricula, as well as the exchange of experiences between the relevant bodies and organisations, and the formation of a future vision for the mechanism of cooperation between the participants.
