DPS-Modern Indian School's support staff team during the Iftar get-together.
Keeping up the spirit of ‘service before self’, DPS-Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS) organised an Iftar get-together for the members of support staff team which included drivers, cleaners and safety personnel recently.
The DPS-MIS family along with the school’s leadership team President DPS Modern Indian School, Hassan Chougule, Vice-President Yasir Nainar, members of the executive committee and Principal Asna Nafees came together to celebrate the auspicious festival of faith, positivity, togetherness and benevolence.
The willingness and enthusiasm with which the teaching and admin staff came forward to support the initiative was indeed heart-warming. DPS-MIS teamed up for the sixth consecutive year to contribute generously to acknowledge and appreciate the invaluable contribution of the support staff .
This kind act not only brought treasured smiles on the faces of all those who spend majority of their time away from their homes and families but also made them feel valued and recognised.
The institution has also planned to donate rice for the lesser privileged people. It will be carried out through ICBF (Indian Community and Benevolent Forum under the aegis of Embassy of India).
This tradition of DPS-MIS clearly highlights its commitment to serve the community with a sense of ‘giving back’ and ‘making a positive difference’ in the lives around.
