DOHA: Qatar National Broadband Network (Qnbn), the enabler of high-speed broadband communication, is taking part in the third annual edition of the information and communication technology conference and exhibition, QITCOM 2014, for three days from tomorrow at Qatar National Convention Centre.
The event will feature a conference, exhibition, and awards ceremony, and brings together government officials, businesses, industry leaders and consumers through their shared enthusiasm for ICT and the growth potential of Qatar’s ICT sector.
Mohammed Al Mannai, CEO, Qnbn, said, “According to the ‘Networked Readiness Index’ report commissioned by World Economic Forum, Qatar ranks the highest among Arab nations. This shift towards a digital knowledge economy is creating greater opportunities for businesses and citizens. As such, Qnbn fiber optic broadband infrastructure is critical to ensuring sustainable national growth.”
