DOHA: The hot weather experienced in several parts of the country yesterday is expected to intensify a little today, according to a forecast.
The maximum temperature reported from several places in the country was 42 degrees Celsius. It would remain the same today in Mesaieed and Al Wakra, but in Doha and Al Khor mercury may touch 43 degrees. There will be a little dust in the air and some clouds, said the forecast.
The direction of the wind inland would be northwesterly to northeasterly, while offshore it would be southeasterly to northwesterly. The wind speed inland is forecast to be between five and 15 knots, while at sea it will be between six and 18 knots.
