CNG, PNG prices hiked in Delhi

New Delhi: The price of compressed natural gas (CNG) in the national capital was hiked by Rs2 a kg. This is the second increase since January. Piped cooking gas (PNG) rates were also hiked by Re1 per unit.

The new rates would take effect from midnight. The decision would result in the CNG consumer price hike of Rs2.25 per kg in the Uttar Pradesh towns of Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. The new consumer price will be Rs41.90 per kg in Delhi and Rs47.35 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. The new price of PNG for Delhi would be revised from Rs23.50 per unit to Rs24.50 per unit up to consumption of 30 units in two months. IANS
