Doha: Total E&P Qatar launched its Sustainability Report for 2013 during a ceremony organised on June 19, by the Ministry of Energy and Industry in partnership with Qatar Petroleum (QP). The ceremony was held to commemorate the annual sustainability report launch by various companies in Qatar’s Energy and Industry Sector.
This prestigious event was attended by Guillaume Chalmin, Total’s Managing Director and Group Representative, Carolina Pretzel, Deputy Vice President HR, Communications and CSR, Yousef Al Jaber, Head of CSR and Institutional Relations, Mohammed Basser, Health, Safety and Environment Manager, and several other employees of Total.
Guillaume introduced the report to H E Dr Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada, the Minister of Energy and Industry for Qatar, and Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Petroleum, who visited Total’s booth and congratulated them on their strides made towards sustainability.
“Sustainable development is deeply embedded in Total’s DNA; it is fully integrated into our strategy, our business model, and our day-to day operations”, said Guillaume Chalmin. “By working with our stakeholders such as QP, Qatargas, Dolphin Energy, etc, we strongly believe that we can build a more sustainable society. We are proud to present our Sustainablity Report for 2013, which is focused on the four pillars of development (Human, Social, Environmental and Economic) in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.”
