Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych on the occasion of his country's Independence Day yesterday.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani has also sent a similar cable to the Ukrainian president. QNA
