DOHA: The Department of Public Control at Doha Municipality said it had rounded up 13 illegal street vendors on Friday.
Inspectors carried out a campaign against vendors, in collaboration with Al Fazaa and other authorities in the morning in the Harraj market. The Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning said on its website yesterday that the crackdown resulted in the arrest of 13 peddlers. It said various goods were seized and later destroyed by concerned authorities.
