DOHA: Ooredoo has announced that its award-winning Mobile Money service will give QR10 cashback on all international transfers to over 200 destinations. The offer has been designed to reward Ooredoo Mobile Money (OMM) customers who use the service to send money overseas to family and friends.
Customers can register for Mobile Money with a valid Qatar ID at any Ooredoo Shop or by dialling *140# on their mobile and following the simple on-screen instructions. Once registered, customers can take advantage of the free QR10 cashback by sending money for collection at 339,000 local MoneyGram agents in 200 countries around the world, securely and reliably 24 hours a day. When the international transfer has been completed, the QR 10 will be instantly credited into the customers Mobile Wallet. Mobile Money is available for use on any model of mobile phone and can be used to top up Hala accounts (with a 10 percent extra recharge), pay Ooredoo bills, send money locally to another mobile or QNB account, or transfer money overseas. Users can simply deposit money into their mobile wallet using any of over 200 Ooredoo Self-Service Machines available across Qatar. Deposits can also be made through Ooredoo shops.
