Doha: Safari Group has lined up a range of events and promotions to celebrate Onam, the state festival of Kerala. Safari’s in-house chefs have prepared Onam Sadhya with 25 different varieties of dishes for QR35 available on August 28. Some 25 varieties of payasam will be available from August 29 to September 2, a press release issued by the group said yesterday.
A musical game show will be hosted on August 26, 27 and 28 in the Food Court arena of the mall. On the day of Onam — on August28 — customer who comes to the mall in traditional Kerala attire would be randomly picked to win a gift hamper. Entertainments like spoon race, musical chair, chocolate picking, balloon blasting etc have also been arranged. Major brands pare also associating with Safari through promotions such as buy any Eastern products worth QR20 and get back QR5 as cash back instantly. There will be an opportunity to win an Apple Mac book, 20 Galaxy Samsung rabs or 20 HP deskjet through the purchase of branded pens like Uniball, Staedtler, Luxor, Atlas, Pentel etc of which the minimum worth should be QR20.
