Doha: Ideal Indian School (IIS) conducted a two-day online refresher programme for all the teaching faculty recently.
On the first day, a webinar on ‘Effective Lesson Planning’ was conducted. Dr. C B Mishra, Director Principal of Prudence Group of School, Delhi State Awardee, CBSE Mentor and Academic Committee Member & Founder Secretary of Indraprastha School Sahodaya was the resource person.
The workshop brought key features of successful lesson planning, streamlined lesson preparation and strengthened teaching.
The session also covered learning activities, evaluations, and designing lessons that are consistent with learning outcomes.
On the second day, Dr. Ameeta Mulla Wattal, Chairperson and Executive Director, Innovation Training DLF foundation schools and scholarships presented a topic on Future Classrooms. Dr. Ameeta discussed ways to focus on foundational learning, Key-stage assessments to measure learning outcomes and Integration of technology in education, exploration of various innovative approaches, modern tools and resources.
Principal of IIS Syed Shoukath Ali also conducted a session with the teachers of Class X and XII on the topic of CBSE’s latest examination system. Second day also witnessed departmental meeting and demo classes by the teachers from various sections.
The entire session was observed to be very Interactive, Informative. Anwar Sadath welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource persons and Sajid Shamim proposed the vote of thanks. Khatija TC, Assistant Headmistress, Girls’ Section coordinated the Refresher Programme.
