Doha: The Civil Defence recently held a discussion on Modern Constructions and Safety Technology against Disasters.
Director of Logistics Department at Ministry of Interior (MoI) Brig Abdul Aziz Al Ansari, officer of engineering drawings at Prevention Department of General Directorate of Civil Defence (GDCD) Lt Khamis Al Kaa’bi, Public Relations director at CGC Ahmad Lahdan Al Muhannadi and Director of the Arab Bureau for Engineering Affairs Eng. Hani Al Hawamida participated in the discussion.
Brig Abdul Aziz Al Ansari said that safety of the community and taking care of security and safety aspects in establishments is an important task of Civil Defense. He said different authorities in the country are aware about the importance of safety requirements and they are working to provide safe environment for everyone.
Brig Al Ansari said that the latest technology can prevent fires and other risks and reduce percentage of physical and human losses. A global code on the sidelines has been modified according to nature and environment of Qatar.The Peninsula
