AMMAN: Remittances sent home by the Jordanians living abroad have surged by 1.4 percent amounting to $2.773 billion at the end of September compared to $2.735 billion on the same time last year, Central Bank of Jordan data revealed on Friday.
Additionally, remittances in September 2013 increased by 6.6 percent, amounting to $321.6, the same data showed. (QNA)
