Islamabad: The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said that the recent visit of Premier Mohamed Nawaz Sharif to Washington will help boosting bilateral relations which are based on mutual respect.
Spokesman for the Pakistani Foreign Minister Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said, in an interview with the Pakistani Radio, that Sharif’s visit to US is the beginning of a new era in the Pakistani-US relations.
Meetings of the working groups on energy and the fight against terrorism and other matters between the two countries will be held in the near future, he added.
Pakistan Prime Minister Mohamed Nawaz Sharif concluded yesterday his first official visit to the US where he met with President Barack Obama and senior US officials to discuss issue of common concern. Agencies
