The Sinabung volcano spews volcanic ash as it erupts in Karo yesterday. The volcano on the island of Sumatra has become increasingly active in recent months, spewing columns of ash several kilometres into the air. Authorities expanded the evacuation radius to 5km from 3km and the military has geared up to move residents out.
