Doha: More than 5,000 people are receiving COVID-19 booster doses every day, said Dr Samya Ahmad Al Abdulla, Senior Consultant of Family Medicine & Executive Director of Operations at Primary Health Care Corporation.
In a short video posted on Ministry of Public Health's twitter account, she explained that over 70,000 COVID-19 booster doses have been safely administered in Qatar.
About the side effects, Al Abdulla emphasized that it is mild and are almost similar to the ones associated with the first and second doses of the vaccine.
“These side effects are represented by a slight rise in temperature, headache, fatigue or pain at the injection site,” she said stressing that “they are the same common symptoms that are usually observed with all other vaccines.”
